CrackTiff - CrackTiff is a tif tiff converter and merger, able to convert tif tiff files from one compression mode into another. For example, you can convert uncompressed tif tiff files into PackBits commpressed, group 3 fax (MH,MR or T.4) commpressed, group 4 fax (MMR or T.6) commpressed or jpeg compressed tif tiff files, or convert PackBits commpressed, group 3 fax (MH,MR or T.4) commpressed, group 4 fax (MMR or T.6) commpressed, LZW compressed or jpeg compressed tif tiff files into uncompressed tif tiff files.

You can merge (combine) multiple tif tiff files into one tiff file by the same compression mode with CrackTiff.

CrackTiff supports uncompressed, PackBits commpressed, group 3 fax (MH,MR or T.4) commpressed, group 4 fax (MMR or T.6) commpressed, LZW compressed or jpeg compressed tif tiff files.

Options to keep file name, convert sub folder, write log file.

Both GUI and command line modes.

I don't know if this is a problem with my computer, or if it is because I am using a trial version (to see if it can convert compressed tif files (compression 7 = lossy JPEG grayscale and color Fax) to uncompressed), but I get the following error:
Dialog: cracktiff.exe - Application Error with the message "The instruction at "0x7c91101a" referenced memory at "0x06030206". The memory could not be "written". Click on OK to terminate the program Click on CANCEL to debug the program. When I click CANCEL, the program exits.

So I will be removing the program from my computer.

Version: 4.0

I tried the trial version, but it didn't convert transparent areas properly. So I erased it from the computer.

That's all I can say! Well documented and easy to use. Had it working in an Access application in minutes.

Didn`t work

did not uncompress tiff images created from Ascent Capture, so won't be using it. Thanks anyways.
